Follow this blog from time to time as Sarah and Derek (Rachel and Dena both did 1,000 mile legs of the trip) add updates of their cross-the-country-on-bicycles-tour, starting July 2nd, 2007 in Davis, CA, and ending in Virginia. They will miss their families, friends, home-grown fruits and veggies, worms, bees, and co-op dinners as they embark on this 2-3 month bicycle trip, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity they will surely enjoy!

Well it's 9 am on monday July 2nd and I'm wondering whether you have started your travels yet. from your entry i can see you were up very late last night. have a great trip. weather in sacramento is going to heat up this week so it is good you are heading for the coast
